Important updates for 2024 for EurGeol title holders.

2023 title renewals via ILB

Please note that for EurGeols whose title is managed via the International Licensed Body, the deadline for the 2023 renewal of your EurGeol title, including the payment of the fee and reporting of your 2022 CPD points, was 31 December 2023. As we are in the process of transitioning to a new platform, it will not be possible to process 2023 renewals after 15 January 2024. After this date, the current platform will be closed. Information on the 2024 title renewal will be provided in due course.

Transition to a new platform: Please hold the renewal

We are in the process of transitioning to a new platform. This change is driven by our commitment to enhance reliability, user experience, and the functionalities available to our community. As we prepare to launch the new platform, please hold your title renewal for 2024 (fee payment and 2023 CPD) until we communicate further details.

“The European Geologist (EurGeol) title is a professional title awarded by the European Federation of Geologists which recognises the ability to deliver a high quality of services within the practice of geology.”

The EurGeol Platform provides the following services:

External users like companies or administrations can identify European Geologists (EurGeols) by country or specialisation and search for a specific EurGeol by title number or name.

EurGeols can easily complete the annual title renewal electronically, including the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) report. The app also provides a news feed with all information relevant for EurGeols, as well as a chat function allowing to exchange with other title holders.

EFG’s Licensed Bodies can supervise and audit the EurGeols’ Continuing Professional Development (CPD) through the platform.
