The EurGeol App provides the following services:

The external user (companies or administrations) can identify European Geologists (EurGeols) by country, specialisation, or search for a specific EurGeol by title number or name.

EurGeols can easily complete the annual title renewal electronically, including the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) report. The app also provides a news feed with all information relevant for EurGeols, as well as a chat function allowing to exchange with other title holders.

EFG’s Licensed Bodies can supervise and audit the EurGeols’ Continuing Professional Development (CPD) through the app.

EFG position paper on energy transition

Based on the expertise that professional geologists provide, EFG believes geothermal energy (both shallow and deep geothermal), CO2 capture, and mineral extraction are part of the answer to the challenges set out by the climate crisis. All three geological activity areas are developed in our position paper that you may download here.
